Peeled; Chapters 5-7

Pages 42-68

This part of the book was pretty dry, so I really don't have much to write about.

We're introduced to Zack Coleman. He seems to be a bit of a creeper at first, but, now he seems sane, and I actually kind of like him.

In Chapter 6, we're introduced to Mr. Grasso, the athletic director. The principal, Mrs. Kutash, has put him in charge of The Core, since their old newspaper adviser, Mr. Loring, left. No one is thrilled about this, especially when he reveals that he has never worked on a newspaper before. Darrell, the editor, worries everyone by threatening that the paper could fail since Mr. Grasso came.

While at home, Hildy finally musters up the courage to call the sheriff's office and ask for some information on the Ludlow house and the murder. She sounds professional and is very proud of herself when the sheriff gives her good information to use on an article.

It's career day at school. Hildy and Mr. Grasso go over to meet the best of the best news reporters, Baker Polton. I really don't like Baker Polton. He treats everyone like they're below him on the food chain, and he's just a loser, really.

Chaper 7 closes with Hildy getting enough courage to email Mr. Polton to ask him for assistance on the school's newspaper, only to have him reply back saying that he's too busy for that. Man, I really don't like this man!

Okay... I had more to write about than I thought I did...
